I was so glad that the weather and the light held out long enough for us to finish our session in on a dreary Saturday afternoon.  Nia, Mike and Jayden are all bursting with excitement to meet the newest member of their family - and it won’t be long now!

Summertime sessions are always a little bit toasty, but Danielle and Doug were such good sports – and we even finished in time to catch the Saints game. I can’t wait to meet this little one for his newborn session!

As I was driving to my session Sunday evening, I spotted this beautiful rainbow stretching over the city and I thought, this is an OMEN. This is going to be an awesome session.

Then, as I was pulling into the parking lot where I was meeting my client, the downpour started. RAIN. And lots of it.

I called my husband to check the radar map. The client and I talked. And we waited. Talked a little bit more. And waited a little bit more. And when, sure enough, the rain began to dissipate after a few minutes, we decided to go for it. And you know what? It WAS an awesome session.

I did that little blond cutie’s newborn pictures less than two years ago. And now he’s going to be a big brother!

It was a cold, cold, cooooooooold morning when I met up with this cute couple for their maternity session. But they were troopers! And the good news is that the cold meant that we had the French Quarter pretty much to ourselves. We had lots of fun exploring Quarter and I can’t wait to meet this this little baby in just a few more weeks.
