What is the Brand Spankin’ New Campaign you ask? Well here’s the scoop: I’m looking for sweet little newborns to add to my portfolio. So I’m offering a deal for the first three newborn sessions that are booked following this post. Read on carefully though – there are criteria that have to be met…

Criteria:
* You must be due on or before April 1, 2008
* You must be willing to do the session within the first two weeks following the baby’s birth
* You must be willing to sign a minor model release (allows me to use the images in my portfolio and on my website)
* All sessions will take place on weekends
* All sessions will take place on-location (typically at your home) in the metro New Orleans area
* All sessions must be completed by April 30, 2008

You get:
* My session fee WAIVED
* One FREE 8×10 of your choice
* 30% off a la carte print prices

If you’re interested and you meet the criteria, email me at amydrouet@yahoo .com for a full price list and be sure to put Brand Spankin’ New Campaign in the subject line. And be sure to check out my website for samples of my work.

Here’s my Pats fan…. go Pats!

Triplets!

January 22, 2008

I’m sad to confess that I’ve been a very, very bad blogger. It’s been 2 months since my last post. Ooops! That means that there’s lots of cute faces I need to catch up on here. (Will you forgive me if I tell you that I’m pregnant? The exhaustion is killing me!) But I had an unusual session at the beginning of January and I’ve had several requests to share it here. Why was it unusual? Well if you read the title of this post, you already know! It was three sweet, darling, (and not-at-all-sleepy when I wanted them to be) boys. :) So without further blathering on my part, here they are:

What could be sweeter than three boys in a basket?

I think he’s sticking his tongue out at me!

“Aaaah, I finally got bro #3 out of here so I can get comfy.”
(sigh) Wide awake…
Still wide awake…
“Is she done yet? Now, I’m sleepy.”
THIRTY toes!!!
As a side note, you’ll notice that all of the ones I posted here are black and white. Very unusual for me… I’m usually more of a color girl. But there’s just something about newborns that begs for the classic feel of black and white. Don’t you agree?
