Don’t worry readers, you’re not seeing a duplicate of another recent post – I do really have several adorable little clients named Lucy. :) I last saw this Lucy just about a year ago for her one year pictures. She was a happy-go-lucky toddler on the go. (Note to Logan – see, one year olds can walk!) For her two year session we went down to the French Quarter for some colorful New Orleans fun. And boy did we have a blast. It was steamy, but Lucy was such a happy little trooper!

Smiley little guy

June 23, 2009

I just had to proof this shot from yesterday’s newborn shoot right away. Can you believe that such a biiiiig smile came from such a little guy? :)

Last weekend I got to meet Justin – the happiest little seven month old. Justin would laugh and smile so easily, especially when dad was doing his academy award worthy sheep impersonation. ;)

Well, I was all set to do Pierce’s newborn pictures next week – until he decided to arrive 4 weeks early. I guess the little guy just couldn’t wait to meet his mom and dad and big brother! A, J & G – Congrats on your new addition to the family. He’s precious. :)

I just love when a client’s home offers a wealth of photo opportunities – and little Lola’s house certainly did. We started our session in her parent’s bedroom, moved to the dining room, Lola’s room, the living room and – finally, the sunroom. Phew! And after all that we headed to the park!
Lola was quite the trooper though. I just love her big expressive eyes and that seriously cute baby chub. :)

I had the pleasure of meeting up with one year old Milo and his parents last week. An extra special pleasure as a matter of fact since the family is only in New Orleans for a couple of weeks before heading back to Malawi, Africa where they live and work. What a blast it was too… Milo was definitely on the go (perhaps he should give Logan some walking lessons?), but also one of the happiest, smily-est babies I’ve ever seen! G+J – enjoy the peek. I’ll get you the full gallery as soon as I can.

I was lucky to meet up with a very sweet couple for maternity photographs last week. J and B are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their long-awaited baby boy and they had one special request for their maternity session: that we take pictures at the carousel in City Park, a place with special meaning for them. Now, I’ve never taken pictures at the carousel before (well, at least not real portraits!) so it was a new experience, but a fun one. J and B – I hope you enjoy the pictures and I can’t wait to meet your little one!

We had an awesome day in the park for Lucy’s session. And Lucy was adorable in her pretty little outfits. This petite cutie even rocked a Notre Dame onesie for her session. See below!

Even her dog wanted in on the action!

Sneak Peek: Rajan

Last week I got to spend the morning with this cutie-pie 9 month old. Doesn’t he look dapper in his little outfit? And I love those big brown eyes.

I had quite a few of my newborn clients all give birth at once in May. Phew! Good hing I love those sweet, squishy little newbie babies. And Gavyn was a perfect subject: both beautiful and cooperative. Check out the petite little princess below…
