It was so nice to see little Avery again for her four month session. The last time I saw her she was just a week or so old!  My how time flies. She’s bigger of course, but also so alert and curious – her big blue eyes just sparkled as she took it all in. I’m sure she was wondering what the big black box and all the commotion was about!

I’m already looking forward to her 8-month session – and the warm sunny weather to go with it!

Sweet little Joshua was so good for his session. He slept and slept with just a few stops for snack breaks. I had a hard time choosing just a few images for the blog post, I love so many of them!

Look who is already 6 months old!

It seems like yesterday that I first met Ava for her 3 month session. She was all smiles for this session, showing off her new skill  of sitting, and was also very tolerant of all of our wardrobe changes. (Isn’t that floral dress the cutest thing ever? Mom bought it on etsy.)

I can’t wait to see what she has in store for me at the next two sessions!

Dominic gave his family quite a shock when he arrived into the world five weeks early. He was a little over 3 weeks old for his newborn session, but due to being premature, still very tiny (4 lbs, 12 oz!) and perfectly sleepy and for his photos.  And best of all, he’ll have a built in  buddy in his new cousin Kaysen who was born just 10 days later!

Sweet little Kaysen about 11 days old for first official photoshoot out in the world. And what a good little boy he was too. He started out the session sleepy, but awake and then drifted off into a nice deep sleep for the rest of the session.

Cole is 8 months old! I can hardly believe it. Those big blue eyes are just as big and blue as ever, but Cole has added a new trick to his repertoire since we last met – crawling!

Hello 2011!

January 12, 2011

Yes, I know. I’m about 12 days too late, right? The story of my life… ;)

In all seriousness, I took about 3 weeks off over the holidays for some much needed family time. And it was fantastic. I barely touched my camera or my compter. Instead I played play-doh and hullaballou and hide-and-seek. And I loved it.

But it did leave me with a bit of a hole to dig myself back out of now that I’m back. But I’m getting there. Look for three sneak peeks to post here on the blog over the next couple of days. I’ve got two galleries ready to go up this week and about 5 orders patiently waiting for me to package them up and get them out. And if you’ve sent me an email and I haven’t responded yet, I will get to it today or tomorrow.

I hope everyone else had holidays were fun, relaxing and full of childhood magic as well!
