Working with babies and small children, it’s probably not too surprising that I frequently end up with some pretty funny images. They rarely make it to the blog since I typically use my sneak peek to showcase some of the cutest images from a session. But they should make it over here more often because I just love them!

This one just cracks me up… can’t you just see him thinking, “Mom, WHY are you letting this lady wrap me up and put this ridiculous hat on me???”

Well three months just flies by! I last saw this little guy at his newborn session. I couldn’t believe how alert and happy he is now. And those blue eyes were just amazing!

Phew! These baby planners are keeping me hopping! But I just love seeing these little ones grow up. Parker has the most amazing blue eyes and round little baby cheeks and big brother Connor is becoming such a handsome little man. And the pink shirts… I love them!

Yet another baby planner has reached the one year milestone. Where does the time go??? 

Campbell was such a little sweetheart for her session, letting us trek her all over the quarter and change her multiplke times. I just looove those big brown eyes!

I can’t believe little Emmie is one year old already… wasn’t it just yesterday that I was doing her newborn pictures?  Emmie makes me work for those smiles, but when we get them it’s so, so worth it. And that red hair and sparkling brown eyes…. adorable!

Ava was soooo good for her 6 month session. So good in fact, that I guess we were due for a more challenging session. Ava definitely made us work for every shot this time, but by the end she was laughing herself silly.

It’s so interesting to me how little babies are so different even from such early ages as mere days after birth. Some babies sleep like rocks, while others wake from the slightest movement. Some prefer to pose on their bellies, while others hate it. Some enjoy a good swaddle while others find the swaddle immensely frustrating.

Sweet Stella was no exception… a light, sensitive sleeper with a strong preference for being on her belly – unless she was swaddled. A good swaddle and my little rustic bowl and Stella was a happy, happy baby.

I had so much fun in the park with Dalyan for his eight-month session. He was a happy, happy little camper and quite a trooper too – even when we started losing light and had to run from the mosquitos at the end!
