Little Lela is just so dainty and perfect. She was an angel for her session, letting get through several different set-ups – I just love the variety!

Sweet Dash was one of the most alert newborns I’ve ever met. Not only was he awake, he was wiiiiiide awake. But when we did eventually get him to sleep, he slept well and posed like a champ. I’ve already posted a few of Dash on Facebook, but I pulled a few new ones for the blog post. And just a reminder… if you haven’t “liked” Amy Drouet Photography on Facebook yet, please go do it! I’m doing more and more of my “sneak peeking” over there now. Just go to Amy Drouet Photography on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/amydrouetphotography) and click “like”. It’s a snap to tag yourself in your images and share them with your friends and family on Facebook.

Liam was so so sweet and I loved having the chance to do some outdoor newborn pictures with him. In fact, I’d love to do more of that!

This was my third year photographing Caleb as he transitions from one age to the next. It’s been a joy watching him grow and this year’s session was extra special as his family is leaving New Orleans and moving several states away. While I’m sorry to see them go, I wish them all the best in their new adventure!

I’m so behind on blogging! What can I say? It’s been busy, busy, busy around here! But without further ado, I just have to share Miss Avery and her 12-month session. Yet another baby planner graduating…. sigh. Isn’t she adorable?

Sweet little Matthew definitely kept us on our toes for his session. In the beginning he was wide awake. Then he slept for a little while. Then he was wide awake again. And just when we thought he was done with sleepy pictures for good, he dozed off one last time, letting us get a few more adorable images…

Summertime sessions are always a little bit toasty, but Danielle and Doug were such good sports – and we even finished in time to catch the Saints game. I can’t wait to meet this little one for his newborn session!

I think poor Parker was a little confused at first by the lady with the big camera, but with a little patience he warmed right up! I just love his pretty blue eyes…

The always popular Christmas in October Mini-Sessions are back! And given the emails I’ve already been getting about these, I suspect they’ll fill quickly. And why not? These mini-sessions are the perfect way to knock out your Christmas cards, update your family pictures and order photo gifts for the family in one quick, economical session! Read on for more details…

Eva was so sweet and such a good little sleeper for her session. In fact we had trouble getting her to wake up for any bright-eyed shots until the very very end of the session!
