Miss Amina may have gotten bigger and more mobile since her four month session, but those big brown eyes and sweet curls are just the same!

(And don’t forget to look for her bonus sneak peek on Facebook!)

Sweet little Davin had such big bright eyes and he was happy to show them off at the beginning of his session. (To see a peek of Davin with his eyes wide awake check out his bonus peek on Facebook.) After a few awake shots though he settled right down to do some seriously cute posing.

I just loved little Cace’s session. Not only was he super content and sleepy – even at 3 weeks old! – but he had beautiful creamy skin and the ability to hold almost any pose too. Isn’t he adorable?

And don’t forget to check out Cace’s bonus peek on Facebook as well.

After a long day of flights (and flight delays!) yesterday, I am finally back in the office today. I’m sorting through emails, orders, and the backlog of to-dos as I write this so if you’ve sent me a message or are waiting on something from me, please be patient. All messages will be returned today and orders will be packaged up and sent out over the next couple of days.  I hope everyone had a wonderful week!

And because a picture says a thousand words…

The gorgeous Piton mountains of St. Lucia. We had a wonderful (kid-free!) vacation full of beautiful beaches, amazing views, and incredible natural wonders. I couldn’t have asked for more.

There’s an exception to every rule, and sweet Cydney is proof of that! When her mom told me that Cydney was already three weeks old, I gently prepared her that we might not be able to get all of the sleepy, posed newborn shots that I typically get with the under-two-weeks-old crowd. But Cydney made quite the liar out of me. She slept and posed beautifully for her session… a future supermodel in making!

Out of the Office

October 12, 2011

Amy Drouet Photography will be closed from Thursday, Oct. 13 through Tuesday, Oct. 18. I will not have access to email or voicemail during this time. I will return all messages when I am back in the office on Wednesday, Oct. 19th. Have a great week everyone!

And just for fun – because no post is complete without a photo! - my two crazy, funny, sweet little monkeys…

I can hardly believe that it was only a little over a year ago that I was photographing Lilly’s big sister Avery’s newborn session. Now Avery’s a big sister! And Lilly looks so much like Avery did as a newborn…

And if you haven’t seen Avery and Lilly on the Amy Drouet Photography Facebook page  yet, go check them out… and be sure to “like” Amy Drouet Photography while you’re there.

Wrangling two little ones can be a challenge, but having a super sweet big sister on hand certainly helps! I loved watching the interaction between these three siblings. They clearly adore each other!

I do love my Just Born sessions… there’s something about working with these little babies that have so recently entered the world that’s very satisfying to me. Aidan was a dream baby for his session – so much so that he never woke up at all until the very end when we did some pictures with mom and dad.

(P.S. There’s a bonus sneak peek of Aidan on the facebook page… go check it out! And please “like” Amy Drouet Photography while you’re there. I appreciate it!)

Well once again I’m running a little behind in blogging. This time of year its pretty common for the blog posts to come in spurts… I get a few posts done, then blogging falls back to the backburner for a few days. But it’s definitely little Nico’s turn for a post - isn’t he adorable? And if you missed it, check out the facebook page for a little collage from Nico’s session as well.
